basketball match on wednesday resulting in our absence for photo taking
got into shit without a doubt BUT it was all worth it because IJ won (: and he's so damn gorgeous. now, dont you start getting jealous cheerleading costume making marathon started on thursday it was such a mad rush with jy and me sewing the pleats one by one, for hours shaowen and ifan had to hunt for the elastic bands around woodlands kat took the rest of the skirts home to continue with the pleats and bands, till 5 freakin am. you go girl! i had barely started on the suspenders when i realized that super glue do not work on cloth it was left to the next afternoon, after GP prelim 14 pairs, 28 strips of elastic bands to be completed within 3 hours trimmings on the skirts were not started on yet either our labour force grew from 2 to 4 and finally 8 of us rushing to complete the costumes before 5 many thanks to our own cheerleaders and non-aquila memebers! you guys did a great job in putting everything together and making our costumes look fab just in time! i swear the suspenders and pleats robbed half of our lives and i have to say a big thank you to the lovelies! angie, kiat, and my two juniors i'm really grateful for the trouble they went through to hunt and collect all the poms from their bougae cheermates and making sure i get exactly 14 pairs thanks to kw for your lucky poms! thanks to kiat for running to and fro the really long potong pasir route to collect the bags of poms from cedar! thank you bohboh for carrying the gay poms from pp to woodlands! i owe you guys a treat, promise (: my slipped disc was much forgotten as 5pm drew closer the painkiller wasnt helping as yet and i reckon i looked somewhat constipated during the whole routine ): BUT at least for that night, when the painkiller finally sinks in, it felt good being able to sit properly, walk properly and jump! i'm not sure what went wrong but the results were disappointing 4th after all that turmoil we went through? definitely not rewarding. perhaps the fact that we got 2nd for our routine can serve as a console for us (: we did good and i'm proud of every one of my cheer babies lets keep the friendship going! ![]() |
